Hastelloy C2000 is a new type of NI-CR-MO alloy with a long history in the chemical processing industry. It is based on the C4 alloy to increase the chromium content and add copper. The high chromium content greatly improves the oxidation resistance of the alloy. , The combination of chromium and copper improves the corrosion resistance in reducing media. It is currently a good alloy resistant to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and hydrofluoric acid in this series, and it can also resist the potential caused by chloride and other halide solutions. Type of corrosion, but the resistance to intergranular corrosion is not as good as Alloy C4.
