Other common names: Alloy 625,UNS N06625, W.Nr 2.4856
Inconel 625 is a non-magnetic, oxidation-resistant nickel-based superalloy. It has the best combination of high strength, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of Inconel series alloys. Inconel 625 was developed in the 1960s with the purpose of creating a material that can be used in steam pipelines and pipes. The solid solution effect of molybdenum and niobium makes it work from low temperatures to 2000°F (1093°C). ) Has excellent strength and toughness in the temperature range. Nickel and chromium provide resistance to oxidizing environments. Nickel and molybdenum provide resistance to non-oxidizing atmospheres. Molybdenum can prevent pitting and crevice corrosion. Niobium increases alloy stability during welding to prevent sensitization. Alloy 625 can resist many corrosive environments, and almost no corrosion occurs in alkaline, salt water, fresh water, neutral salt and air.
Wuden Alloy is China leading manufacturer of nickel alloy industry. We can control the quality of products from the source of production, and conduct multiple tests on every important link to ensure that the products provided to customers are fully meet the requirements.

● Good oxidation resistance
● Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and intergranular corrosion
● Good resistance to inorganic acids such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid
● Resistant to alkali and organic acid corrosion
● Good mechanical properties, creep resistance and weldability
● Excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking
● Resistant to seawater under flowing and stagnant conditions, as well as under fouling conditions
Inconel Alloy 625 can be widely used in various environments due to its high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and high strength. These are just examples:
● Marine applications
Due to its pitting resistance and crevice resistance, Inconel 625 is an ideal choice for high salinity, underwater applications. The alloy material can be used as mooring ropes for ships, propeller blades, submarine accessories and fixtures, and parts of marine equipment. In addition, it can also be used as a sheath for submarine communication cables, submarine transducer control and steam pipeline corrugated pipes.
● Nuclear technology
The high strength, corrosion resistance and stress resistance of Inconel 625 make it an excellent part of nuclear reactors, especially in control rods and reactor cores. Nuclear systems usually involve high temperatures exceeding 650°C, and the strength of Inconel 625 can withstand such high temperatures.
● Industrial processing
Because Inconel 625 is easy to manufacture, heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and has good weldability, it is an ideal material for manufacturing equipment such as heat exchangers, valves and fluid distribution systems, and it is also a suitable component for pipelines in manufacturing plants.
● Aerospace equipment
Super alloy Inconel 625 can also work well under extreme temperatures under high stress, so it can be used in the aerospace industry to make exhaust equipment, fuel lines, heat exchanger shells and rocket components, and it is also an aircraft piping system , Engines and other applications of excellent materials for exhaust systems and thrust reverser systems.
